Ms. Christabel Bintu Alhassan is a seasoned Internal Auditor with 21 years of expertise in risk management, internal controls, and financial auditing with the National Identification Authority (NIA), She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Accounting and Finance and a Master of Science (MSc) in Accounting and Finance from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
As the Acting Head of the Internal Audit Directorate, Ms. Alhassan leads a dynamic team responsible for conducting comprehensive audits across 16 Regional Offices, 276 District Offices, and the Head Office. Her extensive experience in managing risk assessments, evaluating internal controls, and implementing process improvements has made her an invaluable asset in ensuring the integrity and transparency of financial operations within the NIA.
