Mrs. Martha Kasei Fasoranti, CA, ICAG, a dedicated Deputy Director of Finance at the National Identification Authority (NIA), is a results-driven and strategic management expert committed to providing leadership and valuable insights to organizational management. With a robust educational background and substantial professional experience, Mrs. Fasoranti is also a certified Chartered Accountant from the Ghana Institute of Chartered Accountants, holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Professional Studies, Accra, Ghana. Mrs. Fasoranti currently serves as the Deputy Head of Finance at NIA, overseeing responsibilities such as planning and budget preparation, budget implementation, financial reporting, and administration.
In her varied roles over the last decade, Mrs. Fasoranti has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and accounting. Prior to her current position, she served as the officer in charge of the Statistics and Reconciliation Unit in the Payroll Processing Department of the Controller and Accountant General Department. Her responsibilities included building and maintaining robust payroll evaluation systems, engaging in budgeting processes, evaluating and analysing payroll records, and delivering timely and accurate financial reports to management and the Ministry of Finance.
Beyond her academic achievements and professional roles, Mrs. Fasoranti stays abreast of industry advancements through relevant training programs. She completed the Role of Procurement and Legal Framework of the Public Procurement Authority in 2023, attended the Africa Congress of Accountants in 2023 and the 21st World Congress of Accountants in 2022, organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants India (ICAI), Institute of Chartered Accountants Cote d’ Ivoire (ICAC) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ghana (ICAG). Certifications in risk assessment and fraud prevention, along with active participation in legal framework programmes and internal audit conferences, underscore her commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
