Ms. Julie Essiam

Ms. Julie Essiam is the newly-appointed Commissioner-General of the Ghana Revenue Authority. Her professional background includes her tenure as a Group Executive at the Ecobank Group, overseeing operations across 40 countries spanning Europe, Africa and North America. She was also Vice-President of Chase Manhattan Bank from 1990 – 1997 and the former CEO of Ecobank Foundation.
Ms. Essiam graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 1990 and subsequently lived in the United States of America for over 15 years working for the Chase Manhattan Bank (now JP Morgan Chase). She has also held several HR roles and is passionate about transforming communities, mentoring and supporting the youth in shaping their careers.
